Hi, my name is Jeanette Kemert.

I am a Cosmetic Scientist, Founder & Formulator of  popular skin care range, JK Secret Cosmeceutics anti aging, anti wrinkle products.

How did JK Secret Start?

The JK Secret product range was born from my personal desire and passion to help other people manage their skin concerns.

I battled acne skin well into my late 20′s and knew that plastering on thick layers of foundation in a futile attempt to ‘hide’ the acne and scarring was not the answer. I wanted to choose when I wore foundation, not wanting to feel I had to wear it.

The range was initially developed for my own private use. I followed my studies in Biochemistry with a 2 year course in cosmetic science primarily to overcome my own problems with my skin; to find something that really worked and gave lasting results. Through trial and error, learning from first hand experience,  and literally hours of research, I developed a small but very effective range of products.

See, I’m going to admit that I am rather lazy. I don’t have a lot of time to spend on my skincare regime. I’m a mum, wife, business woman, sister and friend… and I choose to ‘have-a-life’. So my skin care products have to be super efficient, have all the ‘goodies’ in them to make my skin ‘gorgeous’… and be quick and easy to apply. And I have since discovered that’s exactly what most other women - like you - want too!

Finally, in 2009, a few of my very close friends convinced me that my secret formulations were to good to keep to myself. They all wanted ‘in’ on my secret to a ‘flawless’ skin. After years of being embarrassed by my skin, them thinking I had great skin was music to my ears! And yes, I seldom wear foundation these days, preferring to go ‘au natural’. Why? BECAUSE I CAN. That’s a very powerful reason!

Add to that my genuine passion for wanting to help others who are experiencing their own skin demons, and its a no-brainer that I had to share JK Secret with the world.

Who are JK Secret products for?

This Anti Aging skin care range is especially formulated for women who want to retain their youthful, younger looking skin and stop premature aging. Although I must tell you that several men use the range as well – especially when they see how well it works for the women in their life!

The range is created with the busy woman in mind, keeping the number of products you need to a minimum, thereby saving you both time and money.

I have found what most women want, is effective skin care products that are environmentally friendly and deliver on their promises, all at a reasonable price. And I am hell-bent on delivering just that to you! I do have a very talented team that support me. My hero, Robert Kiyosaki, says we should surround ourselves with people BETTER than ourselves. I do that every day. I am very lucky to have a talented team of people who are better at many aspects of the business than I am - which means I can build on my strengths and focus on what I do best.

And without the support of our customers, there simply would be no company. JK Secret is a secret that is meant to be shared! Being an Aries, I am impatient, fiery, passionate and selfish. But I’m also straight forward, honest and an everlasting optimist. What you see is what you get. I believe in integrity, hard work and in miracles. I also believe everyone deserves a chance to feel beautiful.

Which is why I find my biggest joy in helping others overcome their skin issues. Because we all know our confidence is connected to how we feel about ourselves. Our skin is usually one of the first things people notice about us and the way we present ourselves to the world. We only have one skin, so lets make the very best of it and treat it right.

Did I mention I also believe in karma? Good skin karma starts with using the best products you can find that agree with your skin. I am often amazed at how people will spend a fortune on clothing and accessories – which are all ‘discardable’ and can be changed in an instant. Yet they are reluctant to spend money on quality skin care products to use on their ‘not-so-discardable’ faces. Your SKIN is your BEST accessory! It’s with you throughout the day, regardless of time, place or what you are wearing… think about it…

On Human Testing…

I promise these products are never tested on animals. I test all the products on myself first, then ask human volunteers to test the products to get their feedback.
