Simmondsia chinensis – a perennial woody shrub grown for the liquid (jojoba oil) contained in its seeds. Spreads easily on the skin, with excellent lubrication qualities and a non-greasy feel.

Jojoba has unique properties that loosely resembles the skins own natural oil (sebum). This makes it closer in structure to the skin’s sebum than other vegetable oils.

Jojoba oil has been found to be particularly good for dry skin conditions and in harsh climates of extreme heat or cold it is an outstanding emollient.

Also found to be good for inflamed skin conditions.
